Need an expansion vessel? Dont have one on the van?
Drain the upstairs heating circuit and refill system but leave one radiator un bled. This radiator will work as an expansion vessel for the time being.
Doing this means you get to charge for a temporary fix and charge again on a seperate visit for installing a new vessel as a permanent fix.

Use a magnet to find blockages. Works great for a blocked cold feed and I saved a very old microbore manifold from extinction by locating blockage with a magnet on pipe, cutting pipe and using a wire to clear blockage. Then just recouped pipe. Didnt have to risk touching manifold joints!!

Magnets!!!
