Hi guys,

I have a growth covered leaKing component.

This component sits just before my central heating boiler (using 15mm pipe) and before a medium sized can water softener type of thing.

Does anyone Know what the leaKing thing is so that I can purchase a new one and replace it?

Please excuse my capital K, the K Key is busted on my Keyboard so the K is a pasted one. Doh! the things we do to Keep it all going.

Many ThanKs

Looks like an old spring loaded safety valve.

thought it was something like a gravity self bleed- no idea really or what would replace it or chop it out!
its leaking anyhow, is there a picture of the top

Thank 's guys I will try the strip down this weekend. I have purchased a Screwfix 15mm double check valve as replacement just in case the strip down causes the end of said leaking component.
I will let you know how it goes.
A double check valve ain't a safety valve. You need one of these......
