Looking to get a wet room completely redone (3x3 metres, walls + floor retailed, and all associated plumbing) and retile main bathroom floor (2 x 5m). So far been quoted £9k and £14k (doesn't include tiles or fittings).

Does anything think this is steep or is this the going rate for bathroom work these days?

On MyBuilder the suggest labour rate would be £3k. Am I missing something what ballpark figure should I be looking for from a competent tradesman?

The question is like asking 'how much is a car'?
All depends what you get and how good it is. personally i would think £3-5k is the figure.
Then, it all depends on where you live.
