As mentioned above, from the tank, always use an independent feed and always read the instructions first. It's amazing how many wrongly installed pumps I see because people fail to read instructions. Also make sure you have the correct pump for the application. If your ever unsure, contact the manufacturer and they will help you select the correct pump for the job your doing.
