Hi, first post here.
I have an unusual situation whereby thewater supply is often variable pressure or even none at all. So the whole house is plumbed for either mains supply (no pump) or storage tank supply (pumped)

But to save on pump running costs I only want to have the pump running when the shower is being used. I dont need higher pressures for basins and toilets.
I am looking for either battery or low voltage remote switching, so that the pump only runs when the shower pipes are running. Can any one help me please?

Sika flow switch on one of the feed pipes to the shower. Simple paddle switch that closes a circuit.

starter for 10- what does sika mean as its used in other brands?

Always known it as a sika flow switch, used on quite a few oil combis.
Worcester upgraded to a brass version.
