What is everyone's opinion on the above?
Only ever installed one and not overwhelmed with it.
I don't like anything push fit and surely it could be very difficult to remove the entire unit from the 2 pipes?

Nope.
I like them. They come with a tensioner which locks the pushfit on and a removing tool.
Its all i fit
I know many lads mustnt have ever read the instructions cos theres always a pile of tensioners and removers in the bin at the merchants when im dumping cardboard etc...

Must admit I can't be bothered sometimes reading all the instructions, but the tensioner /removal tool was clearly part of the Pro2, so I installed it properly.
Surely going to be difficult removing any that plumbers didn't fit the tool?

Best filter around. Well best I've fitted and I've fitted a few. All the cheap ones feel cheap and a lot of them leak. I don't like spirotechs but indo like the brassyness of them

They're all I fit mate. The tensioner is the removal tool - once you slacken off the red nut, just pull it forward and it pushes both pushfit collars in st the same time. The whole unit slides off nice and easy...

That is good everyone likes the MagnaClean and thank you for replying.
I will install the Pro2 now, given their reputation for filtering ability. I previously fitted the Fernox filter.

The only filter I fit now is the magnaclean micro 2. Easy to fit and way better quality than the original. My only gripe is that they are not big enough to accept a full bottle of inhibitor
