Some things are designed for a world wide market so the manufacturing costs of one for the uk market would be high, that said there are a few internal parts that are fitted to pass uk laws.
Do you really need a macerator as rarely is there really no other way. Can you not recess it in to the wall or build a false wall to screw the cistern to or fit the concealed type with the macerator built in so to speak.
